Within this unit I have learnt various things to do with spreadsheets for example, why and how spreadsheets are used and for this the options could be:
-to improve productivity and accuracy
-support decision making
-present information
-analyze data
-perform calculations
-manipulate large datasets
As well as that I also learnt where spreadsheets are actually used, and for this some options may be:
-cost modeling (e.g. in small and medium sized enterprises)
-analysis of data (e.g. scientific experiments or market research)
-tracking progress and recording results (e.g. homework and test result in school or college)
-creating timetables and results (.e.g. league table information for a football league)
-stock control (e.g. in a shop or a manufacturer organisation)

Here is an example of some of the spreadsheets work I have had to complete within this unit to help develop my skills on this topic.
